Women volunteers from all walks of life come together to build stronger, safer communities.
National Women Build Week celebrates women and their passion to help the communities in which they live and the ones that surround them. The week reinforces the message that every woman can make a difference through learning and using construction skills. 100% of the funds that are donated go directly toward our Women Build program.
Women Build groups and individuals financially support Habitat Long Island's projects that help women, children and those living in vulnerable conditions.

Celebrating women and their passion to give back!
How to Get Involved:
- Reserve Your Build Date: A minimum donation of $1,000 secures your group's spot during September 17–19. We'll set up a personalized fundraising landing page for your group to share with friends and family, making it easy to collect donations before you build.
- Corporate Sponsorships: Premiere Build Days, September 15 & 16 — Bring your team for an exclusive Premiere Build Day and make a lasting impact. Sponsorship opportunities start at $1,500 and include social media recognition, logo placement, event signage, and more.
- Individual Women's Groups: Groups can reserve a build date in July or August for $45 per person — a great way to build community and give back before Women Build Week.
- Two Build Sites, Side by Side in Wyandanch: Both sites are located next to each other, so you'll be building alongside the full Women Build community.
- T-Shirts Provided: All participants will receive a Women Build Week T-shirt.
- Lunch Is Not Provided: Please plan accordingly and bring your own lunch.
