CEOs and top executives partner each year to build and sponsor a new Habitat home for a hardworking family.
Habitat Long Island’s CEO Build program is an annual opportunity for CEOs and top executives to get their hands dirty and serve the needs of our community. More than 30 executives trade in their business suits and computers for work clothes and hardhats to raise the walls of a new Habitat home for a family in need of affordable housing on Long Island. In addition to providing a unique networking opportunity, the CEO Build provides high corporate visibility, media recognition and concrete opportunities to engage employees in building stronger families.
This year we are building a home for a VETERAN and his family!
CEO/VETERANS BUILD - June 3, 2024
Habitat for Humanity affiliates are answering the call to help our brave service men and women by building and repairing homes, engaging veterans in volunteer opportunities, and educating communities.
At the heart of the CEO/VETERANS BUILD program is the commitment to constructing safe, decent, and affordable housing. On June 3rd, supported by our generous corporate sponsors, we'll be raising the walls of a new home, offering a veteran family the chance to thrive in an energy-efficient and sustainable home.
What is VETERANS BUILD?
Through this program, Habitat empowers veterans to utilize their skills, camaraderie, and dedication to serve once more—this time, by helping to construct their own homes and those of fellow Habitat families.
This collaborative effort not only addresses the housing challenges faced by veterans but also fosters a profound sense of purpose and community. Together, we forge meaningful connections and create a lasting impact for those who have bravely served our nation.
